Charlie's Song

When Charlie opened his eyes
Everything was dark around him
He was tied up
And couldn't remember anything
The only sound
Was the sound of the car
But it seems to came from very far

Footsteps came closer and closer
After the car stopped
Charlie became more and more scared
After he was robbed
By the vigorous man
Who took him out
And who locked him up in an old house

There is a place that is empty
Now Charlie is gone
He was carried off by someone
Who didn't belong
Right there in that peacefull place
Where Charlie lives in all his grace

He sat there for almost three days
Tied up on a chair
Waiting and waiting thinking of his wife
Who should care
That moment he felt a pang in his head
And he woke up
Safe in his own bed

There is a place that is empty
Now Charlie is gone
He was carried off by someone
Who didn't belong
Right there in that peacefull place
Where Charlie lives in all his grace
